Black Parent Union Meeting

The Black Parent Union (BPU) will meet Saturday, June 18, from 10 a.m. to noon at LAUSD Board Member Marguerite LaMotte's field office, 5351 W. Adams Blvd. The purpose of the BPU is to help parents, educators, and the community to navigate the local school system, and to fight for equitable education for African-American and other children of color. Catholic School Reunion

A reunion gala for Catholic schools in Southern California is planned for Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Kyoto Grand Hotel and Gardens, 120 S. Los Angeles St., from 5 p.m. to midnight.
