Toastmasters open house

Raising the Bar, a Toastmasters International club, meets the first four Thursdays of each month from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at 329 E. Compton Blvd. On June 21, the club will host the first of a two-part series on goals and achievement. A guest speaker will provide information on how you can improve your goal-setting skills and achieve more. The community is invited to attend this free event. New sorority chapter forming

Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Pre-Interest Group are in the process of chartering a chapter in Compton. They will be holding meetings the third Saturday of each month, starting in August. For more information email: pearlsofcompton@gmail.com.

Concerned Citizens of Compton Meeting
