McNair Elementary School teacher Alicia Jackson’s first-grade class became the first in a long line of top winners in Compton Unified School District’s annual science fair’s first-grade competition. Their project, “A Tall Order,” determined the height of each student, as well as differences in the length of their hands and feet.
